With a team of students of Interior Design, we came together and created a mobile health train that would serve the greater Eastern Washington, in terms of health and dental care. Working with student nurses and dental hygenists, we looked at all parts of this design, and took an interdisiplinary approach.
Having explored many options we found a self propelling train, that we were able to work with, including full drawings, and a train engineer to help answer questions.
Questions that popped up during our design, included; how to fit all these amenities onto a train, that has to be able to move around the state? What is the most useful set up? How to deal with strict size requirements of both the train and the nessesary equipment?
